  • 5 3/4 x 6-inch round galvanized metal bucket
  • Tea-dyed tag
  • Matte photo paper
  • Vintage Christmas images from CD-ROM (optional)
  • Acrylic paints: russet, crimson, metallic gold
  • Crackle medium
  • Sealer
  • Laminating liquid
  • 4 antique metal photo anchors
  • 4 gold mini brads
  • Natural jute twine
  • Sisal twine
  • Red hemp cord
  • Christmas greenery
  • Small Christmas ball ornaments
  • Sandpaper
  • Paintbrushes
  • Large foam brush
  • Paper towels
  • 1/16-inch circle punch
  • Permanent adhesive
  • Jewel glue
  • Computer (optional)

Sand bucket; apply one coat of sealer to all surfaces. When dry, paint all surfaces with several coats of russet paint, letting paint dry between coats, until bucket is completely covered. Brush one coat of crackle medium over sides of bucket. Let dry. Top with one coat crimson paint; cracks will appear as paint dries. Dry-brush edges of bucket with metallic gold paint.

Print Christmas images from CD-ROM onto photo paper in smallest size. Option: Use stickers or images from magazines or greeting cards. Cut out; adhere images to bucket using jewel glue. Trim edges of images that extend beyond bucket. Brush sides of bucket with one coat laminating liquid using large foam brush. Let dry. Rub fingers over any areas where paper images are coming up. Wrap jute twine around handles; adhere using permanent adhesive.

Adhere another Christmas image to tea-dyed tag; trim tag as needed. Punch 1/16-inch holes through tag at corners of image; mount mini brads through photo anchors in holes. Adhere greenery to top back of tag; tie tag to handle using sisal twine. Thread red hemp cord through ornament hangers; tie in a bow around bucket handle in front of tag.
